Some users like the default window border color and appearance on their computers, but they are worried that other people will arbitrarily change them without their agreement. Step 1: Access the Local Group Policy Editor by searching.
Go to the Search panel with Windows+F hotkeys, type gpedit.msc, choose Apps and click gpedit in the searching result to access the editor.
Step 2: Find and open the Personalization folder in User Configuration.
Locate it by following the path of User Configuration/Administrative Templates/Control Panel/Personalization, and open it with a click.
Step 3: Locate and enter the setting of Prevent changing color and appearance.
Find Prevent changing color and appearance, and double-tap it to move on.
Step 4: Enable the setting.
As the window titled Prevent changing color and appearance appears, select Enabled and click OK.
Step 5: Turn off Local Group Policy Editor.
Click the close button on the top right corner to turn it off.
Now, you can test the setting by going to change the color and appearance of window border in your PC, and see if you are informed that this feature has been disabled.
