How to Find Homegroup Password in Windows 8/8.1

When other members on the home network ask to join the homegroup, many users may pat their heads, thinking about what their homegroup password is or where they can find it. Thus, this text will introduce two commonly-used ways to find homegroup password in Windows 8 computer.

Method 1: Find homegroup password in PC settings.

Step 1: Access PC settings.

Step 2: Open HomeGroup, and find the homegroup password on the right.

Method 2: Find homegroup password in Control Panel.

Step 1: Open Control Panel.

Step 2: Enter Network and Internet, click HomeGroup and tap View or print the homegroup password.

After these 2 steps, the homegroup password is found instantly, as shown in the following picture.
