As shown in the following picture, high contrast improves readability of the display on Windows computer. If you are wondering how to turn it on, this article specially introduces the three commonly-used methods to turn on High Contrast in Windows 10 computer for your better choice.
The keyboard shortcut [ Left Shift, Left Alt and Print Screen keys] makes it easy for users to enable High Contrast mode. But first of all, you should make sure this keyboard shortcut is set.
Step 1: Press Windows+U to open Ease of Access Center, and choose Set up High Contrast.
Step 2: In the following window, select Turn on or off High Contrast when left ALT + left SHIFT + PRINT SCREEN is pressed under High Contrast, and then click OK. If this option is unchecked, the keyboard shortcut to turn on High Contrast is disabled.
Step 3: Now you can press the left Shift, left Alt and Print Screen keys at the same time.
Step 4: In the pop-up High Contrast dialog, choose Yes to turn it on.
Step 1: Type high contrast in the search box and tap High contrast settings in the result.
Step 2: On the right of High contrast, click None under Choose a theme, and then select an option from High Contrast #1, High Contrast #2, High Contrast Black and High Contrast White in the list.
Step 3: Click Apply to make the setting effective.
Step 1: Open Control Panel.
Step 2: Enter high contrast in the top-right search box and hit Turn High Contrast on or off under Ease of Access Center.
Step 3: Select a High Contrast theme from the four themes provided.
