After investing a brand new computer, some users choose to directly use the Windows OS coming with the new PC or clean install the Windows system on the new machine when there is no OS. While other users plan to copy the old computer's hard drive to the new computer for getting the familiar running environment. If you are the latter user, how can you completely clone the old hard drive to your new computer? Just take it easy. Here is an effective workaround for you, which can help to perfectly restore everything from the hard drive to the new machine.
Disconnect the new hard drive from the new computer and then properly install it into the old Windows PC whose hard drive you want to clone. If the new hard drive isn't initialized before, you need to make it be identified and add volumes to the hard drive in Disk Management.
