In Windows 8 computer, when you use Ctrl+Alt+Del to open the Windows Security dialog box, you will find that there is no Log off in the options. Step 1: Enter Local Group Policy Editor.
Step 2: Seek out and open Remove Logoff setting.
It can be found according to the path of User Configuration/Administrative Templates/System/Ctrl+Alt+Del Options/Remove Logoff.
Step 3: Make sure this setting is enabled.
As the Remove Logoff window appears, select Enabled and click OK.
Step 4: Exit the Local Group Policy Editor.
Tap the red close button on the top right corner to exit it.
Then, in the Ctrl+Alt+Del options, you will discover that the Sign out item has been removed.
