Undoubtedly, many users had never thought that the Network icon and other desktop icons could be changed until they heard of the issue from other people. How about you? Step 1: Right-click the bottom left corner on the desktop to open the Quick Access Menu and choose Control Panel to get into it.

Step 2: In the Control Panel, enter common icon in the top-right search box and click Show or hide common icons on the desktop.
Step 3: As the Desktop Icon Settings dialog turns up, select the default Network icon and click Change Icon button.
Step 4: Choose a new Network icon from the system-provided list and tap OK.
Step 5: Click OK in the Desktop Icon Settings dialog box to confirm changing the Network icon.
When the above steps are finished, the Network icon is successfully changed to the new one, as shown in the following screen shot.
