As you are sending or receiving emails in Outlook, prompt shows you Microsoft Outlook "Not Implemented" error. It caused by varieties of reasons. However, you have a couple of fixes you can try to fix Microsoft Outlook not implemented error on Windows.
Your Microsoft Outlook component file could be damaged when you do some operations. You can follow the troubleshooter to fix not implemented error below.
Step 1: Press Windows + E key combination to invoke File Explorer window. Type Scanpst.exe in the Search Bar to find out the tool.
Step 2: Double-click on the result. Click on Browse to choose which file to repair then tap on Start.
Step 1: Open Control Panel.
For Windows 8/7/Vista: click on Start > Control Panel.
For Windows XP: navigate to Start > SettingsControl Panel.
For Windows 10: input Control Panel to the Search Bar and hit Enter.
Step 2: Click on Uninstall a program under Program.
Step 3: If you have two versions of Outlook in your computer, select the one you needless and click on Uninstall. Alternatively, click on Outlook application then tap on Change.
Step 4: A new window will pop up next. Select the Repair and tap on Continue to fix the error.
Step 1: Open Control Panel. Click the Down arrow next to View By at the top-right, select Small icons from the drop-down.
Step 2: Click on Windows Firewall. Then click Turn Windows Firewall on or off in the left panel.
Step 3: Select all options of Turn off Windows Defender Firewall. Tap on OK to save changes.
To fix Outlook "not implemented" error, you can create a new pst file in different versions.
Step 1: For Outlook 2007, click on Tools Account Settings. For Outlook 2010/2013/2016, click FileAccount Settings.
Step 2: Under Data Files tab, select the file name. Click on Add then set a name for your file.
Note: After finishing creating a new pst file, click on Set as Default.
Step 1: View add-ins.
For Outlook 2007: click Tools > Trust Center Add-ins.
For Outlook 2010/2013/2016: click on FileOptionsAdd-Ins.
Step 2: Under Add-Ins tab, scroll down and click on Go at the bottom.
Step 3: Select the abnormal add-ins and click Remove.
Step 1: Expand the folders in the following directory:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook\
Note: If you cannot find the AppData folder, click on View tab at the top then go to Show/hide section. Tick the Hidden items check box.
Step 2: Find out and rename as outlook.old. Next time you relaunch Outlook, the srs file will create itself.
