When there is less space in Windows 10 computer, it is common to uninstall the useless programs to get more space. But when you mistakenly uninstall the useful programs, how can you restore the deleted/uninstalled programs? In this article, two ways are discussed to recover uninstalled programs in Windows 10.
System Restore is the Windows built-in feature, which can help users to recover deleted files and data on Windows OS. You can make good use of this feature to restore the Windows to a previous restore point, which can help to recover the uninstalled programs.
Note: To make use of this feature, Turn on system protection should be enabled in advance.
Step 1: Click the Start button at the bottom left on your PC. Then choose Settings.
Step 2: On the search box, enter “restore” and then choose “Create a restore point” option from the list.
Step 3: Click on System Restore button under System Protection tab. Then click the Next button on System Restore window.
Step 4: Choose a restore point that is before the point you uninstall the program and then click the Next button.
Step 5: After you check the restore details, you can click the Next button to go ahead.
Step 6: Click the Finish button and then the Yes button to start the restoring. When the process ends, the deleted uninstalled programs will be restored.
There is a much easier way for you to recover uninstalled programs and the files. You can use iSunshare BitGenius to restore the uninstalled programs, including the .exe file and the installation folder. What's more, there is no influence on other applications on your Windows computer.
Step 1: Open iSunshare BitGenius and the select the drive that you uninstalled programs and click the Start button.
Step 2: When the scan process ends, you can go to find the target programs setup and installation files. Then tick the boxes next to them.
Step 3: Click the Recover button and then select a location (not the original hard drive) to store the recovered programs files.
After that, you can go to the destination and then double-click to install the application again.
