If you frequently use certain programs on your computer, you can pin them to the Start menu. And it will be convenient for you to open it from the Start menu. Now, you can learn how to pin program to Start menu or unpin program from Start menu in this post.
Example: Pin Settings to the Start menu.
Step 1: Open Settings through Search.
Type setting on the Windows Search box, then choose Settings Apps and click Pin to Start.
Step 2: Tap the Windows icon to open Start menu, find the Settings has been successfully pinned to the Start menu.
Of course, you can also unpin the program from Start menu immediately.
Step 1: Press the windows icon to open Start menu.
Step 2: Right-click a tile you want to remove (Here's an example of Settings), and select Unpin from Start on the context menu.
As shown in the following screen shot, the selected tile has been successfully unpinned from the Start menu.
Then, you can follow suit to unpin other tiles from this menu.
