"Hey, there. The first time I opened the Maps app in my Windows 8 tablet, I allowed it to show my location info. Yet, now I find that it displays my location every time I turn it on. Could you tell me what I can do to disallow it to show my location?"
To disallow apps to use your location in Windows 8 computer, you can turn off the setting named "Let apps use my location" in the Privacy settings. For more info, please refer to the following detailed steps.

Step 1: Open PC settings.
Step 2: Select Privacy and click the switch under the "Let apps use my location" setting to turn it on or off.
Tip: By moving the slider on the switch to the right or left, you are also able to turn on or off this setting.
