You may have two or more iPhones connected to your Apple ID. Apple ID is critical to your iPhone. Before you can access all Apple services, you must be signed into your Apple ID on your device. Since iOS 10.3, you can check and manage each iOS device connected to your Apple ID.
However, when you sell, give away, or trade in a device, it is recommended that you remove it from your Apple ID to avoid putting your private data at risk. Removed devices will lose access to iCloud and Apple services.

Step 1: On your iPhone, open the Settings app on your iPhone. Click the arrow to access your Apple ID.
