Do you know how to convert Word 2013 document to PDF without the aid of any third-party software? In this article, two frequently-used methods are respectively and elaborately illustrated below.
Way 1: Convert Word 2013 document to PDF through the Save As function
Step 1: Open a Word 2013 document, click File on the top Menu Bar, as shown in the following screenshot.
Step 2: In the next interface, choose Save As on the left and tap the Browse folder on the right.
Step 3: As the Save As window turns up, click the Word Document bar beside Save as type, select PDF in the pop-up list and tap Save option.
Way 2: Convert Word 2013 document to PDF through the Export feature.
Step 1: Click File on the top left corner of an open word document (see the first pic. above).
Step 2: Select Export on the left menu, choose Chang File Type and tap Save As on the right side.
Step 3: In the Save As window, beside Save as type, click the bar with the information of Word Document (*.docx) and choose PDF in the drop-down list.
Step 4: In the same interface, click Save on the bottom right corner.
Tips: If you use the Export function to convert a word document to PDF again, you can finish the whole process more efficiently. For more info, please refer to the following guidance.
Step 1: Click File on the Menu Bar of an open word document.
Step 2: Choose Export in the left menu and double-click Create PDF/XPS Document on the right.
Step 3: In the window of Publish as PDF or XPS, click Publish button on the lower right corner.
