It's so bored to see the same wallpaper on Mac every day. So, you can personalize your desktop if you have beautiful pictures. Moreover, on a Mac computer, it provides some images on the local disk. Here four fast ways of how to make a picture as your background on macOS Sierra.
To configure customer wallpaper, you can set it from Desktop & Screen Saver window or a prepared image. Only two steps to accomplish in each method.
Step 1: Move the mouse to the upper-left corner of the desktop then click on the Apple icon and select System Preferences from the dropdown.
Step 2: In the pop-up window, click Desktop & Screen Saver in the first row.
At the bottom of the screen, click on System Preferences from the Dock. Then open the Desktop & Screen Saver window to change your Mac desktop background.
Right-click on the blank of the desktop and select Change Desktop Background. After that, you can see the Desktop & Screen Saver window and personalize the wallpaper.
Prepare a favorite picture and right-click on it. Choose the Set Desktop Picture from the list.
In the Desktop & Screen Saver window, we can randomly change the background if you are tired of a single image. Whether it needs a folder contains multiple pictures inside.
NOTE: The System Preferences wound get into stuck if your Mac doesn't have enough space to run the process.
Check the option of Change picture and choose a proper interval. Mac will change the desktop background in order. Once you select the Random order, the wallpaper would not show in the same order.
Of course, if you dislike the random display of wallpaper, you can repeat the steps above to make a single picture as your desktop background.
