In order to protect files in your thumb drive, you may lock the drive with BitLocker in your Windows computer. However, when you want to open a file of the BitLocker thumb drive on your Mac, you will find that the drive can't be read successfully, which makes you fail to access your wanted file. At that time, instead of giving up BitLocker encryption for your drive, you can try to use iSunshare BitLocker Genius which is an easy-to-use but powerful BitLocker reader for Mac to solve the problem.
Step 1: Get iSunshare BitLocker Genius and then install it on your Mac with simple clicks on the installation window. After it is installed successfully, you will see a pop-out wizard like the following screenshot and you can exit it by tapping Close button.
