Firefox‘s safe mode is a special running mode, which can be used for errors checking and troubleshooting. When you run Firefox in safe mode, add-ons such as extensions, themes, and plugins would be disabled. But the bad news came, your Firefox stuck in safe mode. What would you do to solve the problem then? Calm down and walk through the procedure in this post, we will show you some methods to rapidly run and exit Firefox safe mode.
In order to fix browser issue, it is necessary for you to run Firefox in safe mode. Here are three ways in total below.
In the latest version, the "Restart with Add-ons Disable" option has taken the place of "Safe Mode".
Step 1: Open Firefox, click Menu button on the top-right corner then navigate to HelpRestart with Add-ons Disable.
Step 2: When you are asked about "Are you sure you want to disable all add-ons and restart?" click on Restart button.
Step 3: In the next pop up window, click on Start in Safe Mode.
Note: If Firefox repeat the above steps and cannot open in safe mode, type "about:support" in the address box and hit Enter. When the Troubleshooting Information tab is open, click Refresh Firefox button to reset Firefox settings.

Step 2: Tap on Start in Safe Mode button to launch Firefox in safe mode.

Step 2: When the Run window open, input "Firefox.exe -safe-mode" then press Enter.
The Firefox will maintain stay in safe mode if you simply close it as normal. You have couple methods to try to get out of Firefox safe mode.
The most direct way is to turn off the computer, and restart it. This make sure your Firefox has been completely turning off. Once you relaunch your Firefox, it may work in normal mode.
If you still stuck in Firefox safe mode, it probably due to Firefox target line has changed.
Step 1: On the desktop, right-click on the Firefox icon and select Properties from the option.
Step 2: In the Shortcut tab, if the target has a long tail "-safe-mode" behind, it will launch Firefox in safe mode. Right-click and Delete it. Restart your computer and launch Firefox again.
