As is known to all, BitLocker is only enabled on some Windows versions. Before running iSunshare BitLocker Genius for Windows, you need to make sure that the .NET Framework version is 4.0 or later on your PC. Besides, please backup the partition that you want to BitLocker encrypt before encrypting it in case of data loss caused by wrong operations during the encryption process, such as sudden power off, removing the connected drive by accident, exiting the software etc.
Step 1: Open the software. Right-click the drive that you want to encrypt with BitLocker and choose Turn on BitLocker option.
Tips:
1. The drive where saves this software installation directory does not support encryption.
2.The system disk is not supported to encrypt.
3. To BitLocker encrypt the OS volume, you need to enable TPM firstly if there is TPM chip on your computer. If your computer is not equipped with the TPM chip and your Windows OS supports BitLocker encryption, you can follow this guide to allow BitLocker without a compatible TPM.
Step 2: Set the BitLocker encryption options.
Enter a strong BitLocker password whose length is 8 characters or greater. Then input it again to confirm the password.
Click save to file option in the lower-left corner to save the recovery key. You can select a folder from other drives to save the recovery key file.
Check Encrypt used disk space only option or uncheck it to BitLocker encrypt the entire disk.
Step 3: Hit Encrypt button to start encrypting your drive.
Step 4: When the software finishes the BitLocker encryption task, it will remind you with a box as follows.
Right-click the unlocked BitLocker drive and select Lock Drive option.

Step 1: Locate the locked drive in the software. Right-click the drive field and choose Turn off BitLocker option.
Step 2: Choose the method to unlock the drive: password or recovery key. Then enter the recovery key or passcode. After that, click the Decrypt button.
