In the Settings of some phones, you are able to make the pattern (or password) visible or invisible when unlocking the screen. Similarly, on Windows 8 tablet, you can decide whether there is visual feedback or not when touching screen. For more info, please refer to the method which is further illustrated by the following steps.
Video guide on how to hide or show visual feedback when touching screen on Windows 8 tablet:
Step 1: Open Tablet PC Settings.
Go to the Search bar with Windows+F hotkeys, enter tablet pc settings in the blank box, choose Settings and tap Tablet PC Settings in the result.
Step 2: Access Pen and Touch settings.
In the Tablet PC Settings dialog box, choose Other on the top and click Go to Pen and Touch.
Step 3: Hide or show visual feedback according to personal requirement.
If you want to hide visual feedback when touching screen, deselect Show visual feedback when touching the screen and tap OK.
Conversely, if you would like the visual feedback to display, choose Show visual feedback when touching the screen and click OK.
