Way 1: Find and delete appraiserres.dll file in local disk C

Step 2: Set to show hidden files, folders, and drives

1. Open File Explorer and the click View > Options.

3. In Folder Options, click the View tab and then check the option Show hidden files, folders, and drives under Hidden files and folders field. Finally, click the OK button to save the change.

Step 3: Delete appraiserres.dll file and install Windows 11

1. Mount the downloaded Windows 11 ISO image file.

2. Go to open the mounted drive on your computer, which is always the DVD drive, and then right-click the setup program and choose the Open option.

3. When the Windows 11 setup shows up, click the option—Change how Setup downloads updates.

4. Choose Not right now in the open window.

5. Now, go to this location: C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources. Then scroll down to find appraiserres.dll file. Right-click it and then choose Delete to delete this file.
