Having trouble with Windows 11 update error? Don't be upset! Here's how to fix Windows 11 update failed.
Step 1: Press Windows + R key simultaneously, or you can right-click the Start menu from the Taskbar to tap on Run.
Step 2: Input the command services.msc inside the Run dialog, then click OK to run it.
Step 3: Then you will open the Services window. Find and double-click on Windows Update.
Step 4: Click the drop-down menu to the right of Startup type and select the Automatic option. Then click OK to continue.
Step 5: Now, you can see the Startup Type of Windows Update is change to Automatic.
Step 1: Right-click the Start menu on the Taskbar, and click Settings.
Step 2: After opening Settings, click on Troubleshoot on the left pane.
Step 3: Continue to click on Other troubleshooters on the right pane.
Step 4: On the System>Troubleshoot>Other troubleshooters interface, click on Run on the Windows Update column.
Step 5: Wait for detecting problems.
Step 6: Then detected that the system needs to be rebooted. Click Next.
Step 7: After that, wait for detecting additional problems.
Step 8: In this step, troubleshooting has completed, then click Close.
Step 1: Click the Search on the Taskbar, input cmd in the search box and then click Run as administrator to open Command Prompt.
Step 2: Click Yes to allow this app to make changes to your device.
Step 3: Type the command DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth within the Command Prompt and press Enter. This will take a few minutes.
Step 4: Scan the image until the scan is complete and the result is displayed in the Command Prompt.
Step 5: Continue typing the command DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealth and press Enter.
The Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool reports whether the image is normal, fixable, or unfixable. If the image is fixable, run the command DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and press Enter to fix it.
