God Mode is a special folder that shows all available operating settings in only one window. It saves you time to search a command without the need to know the steps to find it through Start menu or Control Panel. God Mode is hidden by default, so we need to enable it before usage. First, make sure that you use an account with administrator privileges. Check how to know that for the following steps:
Step 1: Open the "Control Panel".
Step 2: Click the User Accounts twice and then you can see the name and type of the account on the right side. If your account has administrator rights, the word Administrator will appear under the account name.
Then set up God Mode on the desktop. Actually, you can create a shortcut for God Mode to anywhere you like. But in general, a shortcut on the desktop will be more convenient to use. Here's how to enable God Mode on the desktop in Windows 10.
Step 1: Right-click the desktop to create a new folder.
Step 2: Rename the new folder as "GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}". The folder icon will change immediately and look similar to the Control Panel's.
Furthermore, God Mode is just a popular name given by some people since it can give you access to all the operating settings in only one window. You can rename it to whatever you'd like. For example, if you want to rename it "AllSettings", you can right-click the icon and paste "AllSettings. {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}". Open it and you can see the name has changed.
Step 1: Double-click the icon, then you see all the available settings options in one screen. There are usually more than 200 operating settings available to use.
Step 2: Find the operating settings you like and double-click it for use.
For searching operating settings, you can browse through the various categories, including Administrative tools, AutoPlay, Color Management, Ease of Access Center, File Explorer Options, etc.
Or type the keyword on the search bar in the top right corner. Find the operating settings you want in the results displayed. Double-click it to change the settings.
