To minimize the Ribbon (referring to the following pic.) in Windows 10 File Explorer, you can use the four methods illustrated below.

Way 1: Minimize it by clicking blank area.
Click any blank space in File Explorer to have the Ribbon minimized.
Way 2: Minimize it with keyboard shortcuts.
Press Ctrl+F1 to realize the goal.
Way 3: Use the Minimize the Ribbon button.
On the top-right corner in File Explorer, tap the Minimize the Ribbon icon (i.e. the small up arrow).
Way 4: Minimize it via the Customize Quick Access Toolbar icon.
On the top left, click the Customize Quick Access Toolbar icon, and then select Minimize the Ribbon in the list.
