Sometimes, we may be under the situation that we can't find the downloaded file of the browser like Chrome, Firefox, Edge or IE before. At that time, instead of downloading the file again which wastes time, it's more convenient to find the file by the following two ways.
If we didn't change the download location, we can find the file in "Downloads" of File (Windows) Explorer generally.
Open File (Windows) Explorer by searching in the start menu or clicking it on the desktop > Select "Downloads" in the left panel > Find the file you need.
If the download location was changed, we can try to find the file in the browser directly.
Browser 1: Google Chrome
1. Open Google Chrome > Click "" button on the upper right corner of Chrome > Choose "Downloads" on the drop-down menu.
2. Find the file and tap "Show in folder" if you want to know where it's saved.
Browser 2: Mozilla Firefox
1. Open Mozilla Firefox > Click " " button which is the first option on the upper right corner of Firefox > Select "Downloads" on the drop-down menu.
2. Find the file and tap "Show Downloads Folder" if you want to know where it's saved.
Browser 3: Microsoft Edge
1. Open Microsoft Edge > Click " " button which is the first option on the upper right corner of Edge > Choose " ".
2. Find the file and tap "Open folder" if you want to know where it's saved.
Browser 4: Internet Explorer
1. Open Internet Explorer > Click " " button on the upper right corner of Explorer > Choose "View downloads".
2. Find the file > Right-click it and select "Open containing folder" to get the saved location if you need.
